Video: Two Injured, Two Arrested in Lowndes Co. Shooting

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Two men are injured, and two others are behind bars after a shooting in Lowndes County early Sunday morning.

Deputies tell WCBI the shooting happened shortly after midnight at a home in the 4500 block of Highway 182 East near Columbus.

Two men were shot in the leg, and were taken to a Columbus hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators arrested two others. They aren’t releasing the suspects’ names at this time.

Deputies still don’t know what led up to the shooting.
