Video: Two Injured in Hwy. 82 Car Crash

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) A Wednesday afternoon accident sends two people to the hospital.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. in the west bound lane of Hwy. 82 near Maben in Oktibbeha County.

According to Cpl.Criss Turnipseed with the Highway Patrol, 35-year old Tasha McKinney and her passenger, whose name has not been released, were travelling in a Dodge Stratus when they were rear-ended by a Ford F-150driven by 33-year old Walter Roberson.

McKinney and the female passenger were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Turnipseed says everyone was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
