Two Face Fraud, Embezzlement Charges

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two Columbus men are arrested on theft-related charges.

Police say 26-year-old Anthony Eddins is charged with embezzling from T.J. Maxx where he was a clerk. He is accused of allowing customers to go through his register without paying for their items.

He is free on $5,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, 48-year-old Emmitt Rice is charged with three counts of ID fraud for using a friend’s debit card three times without permission.

He is being held on $3,000 bond.
