Two Dead After Over Night Crash

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Two people are dead after a late night crash in Monroe County. Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says three others were injured in a head on collision that took place right before the Highway 25, Highway 45 Alternate bridge.

He says one of the vehicles involved in the crash was allegedly going south on the northbound lane.

Coroner Alan Gurley has not yet released the names of the victims.
