Two dead in Monday night shooting in Lafayette County

LAFAYETTE COUNTY (WCBI) – Lafayette County investigators are treating two Monday night deaths as a murder suicide.

Deputies found a man and woman dead at a County Road 147 home around 9 Monday evening.

Lt. Alan Wilburn says his department working with Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are confident the case is a murder suicide.

The names of the victims is not being released at this time.
