Two charged in shooting of 12-year-old and 13-year-old

WINSTON, Miss. (WCBI) – We now know the names of the men facing charges in Winston County for allegedly shooting two boys.

Brothers Joe and Justin White have both been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, drive-by-shooting, and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

They remain in the Winston-Choctaw County Regional jail.

Investigators said more arrests are possible.

The shooting happened this past Thursday at the intersection of Goss Road and Minnie Miller Road.

A 12-year-old and 13-year-old were both shot outside of a home.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh said, within minutes of the drive-by shooting, deputies were able to pull-over a white SUV and arrest the White brothers.

Pugh told WCBI the victims remain in a Jackson hospital.
