Two Arrested In New Hope Burglary

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) – A young man and a juvenile were arrested after breaking into a New Hope business and attempted to get into another.

Lowndes County investigators say Dealio Lamar Thomas, 18, and an accomplice broke into Trojan Superette and tried to burglarize the nearby Dollar General on Sunday.

Surveillance video was used to identify Thomas and the other suspect.

The duo was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Thomas is charged with Burglary and attempted burglary.
