Two Arrested in Amory Stabbing
AMORY, Miss. – (WCBI) A brutal stabbing in Monroe County leaves one man injured, and two more behind bars.
It began as welfare check prompted by a 911 hang up call on Saturday night. When Amory police officers arrived at the home on 1119 J. Avenue, the man who opened the door was badly beaten and had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim was able to identify the two men he said attacked him.
The next morning, Amory officers arrested Roderick McKissick, 37 of Amory and Kelvin Spratt, 36 of Aberdeen and charged them both with aggravated assault. Bond was set a $25,000 each.
Meanwhile, the victim has since been treated and released from North Mississippi Medical Center.
