Two Arrested In Columbus Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Two men are facing charges after an alleged robbery in Columbus Wednesday afternoon.

Columbus police responded to the robbery call on Gardner Blvd just before 1 p.m.

The victim told investigators 53-year-old Franklin Honeycutt and 26-year-old David Berry assaulted him, stealing his cell phone and some cash.

Lowndes County deputies later tracked down the suspects on Duncan Road.

They were both arrested and charged with robbery.

Bond for Honeycutt was set at $20,000. Berry’s bond was set at $30,000.
