Two Aberdeen Men Arrested

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Monroe County deputies make two arrests.

James Brewer

36-year-old James Brewer was arrested in Aberdeen and charged with Motor Vehicle Theft.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said Brewer stole a pickup truck, and the department reported the crime to the National Crime Investigation Center were Brewer was eventually found in Sarasota, Florida.

Brewer remains in the Monroe County Detention Center and his bond is set to $25,000.

Dustin Hawkins

Deputies also arrested 21-year-old Dustin Hawkins and charged him with Breaking and Entering.

Hawkins has been released on $5,000 bond.
