Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau Welcomes New Director of Marketing
TUPELO, Miss—The Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) announced today that Kylie Boring will join its team as Director of Marketing. Boring will officially begin work with the bureau September 16.
“We are excited to add Kylie’s extensive marketing background to our talented staff, and look forward to utilizing the unique skill set that she brings to the Director of Marketing position,” said Neal McCoy, Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director.
Boring comes to the TCVB from Journal, Inc., where she served as National Accounts Sales Representative, managing key national and local accounts in Tupelo and Lee County. She previously worked at Philips Day-Brite as Associate Product Manager, and as Marketing Manager for XtraLight Manufacturing, a Houston, TX-based company. A native of Jackson, MS, Boring graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and has lived in Tupelo since 1999 with her husband, Chris, and son, Van Michael.
“I am very excited to join the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau team to help promote and build greater brand awareness for the City of Tupelo,” said Boring. “My goal is to ensure that Tupelo is viewed as a destination for all travelers, and I am eager to contribute to the CVB’s mission to entice visitors to come to Tupelo and explore all that our great city has to offer.”
