Tupelo Tours Homes Restored After April Tornado
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – It was an opportunity for people to see how some homes, damaged by April’s tornado, have been restored. The Tour of Homes was hosted this afternoon in Tupelo. It was also a chance to support the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. A tour of homes allowed ticket holders to go inside four homes in the Joyner area that had significant damage when the tornado hit in April. Each home has now been restored. Guests enjoyed music, snacks and lots of Christmas decorations.
“I think it’s important to see exactly what our community has gone through since April 28th and to be able to do that in a way that supports our symphony, who is a great asset to us, is a great thing to see all of our neighbors come together for such a good cause,” says Organizer Megan Robinson.
Organizers hope to raise five thousand dollars for the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
