Video: Tupelo Showchoir Waits Tables For Fundraiser

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Diners at The Grill in Tupelo’s Fairpark were serenaded by members of the THS Showchoir on Tuesday night.

The showchoir, named “Synergy”, took Grand Champion honors this past weekend at the FAME Regional competition in Florida.

Now, they are raising money to go to Nationals next month in Chicago.

Showchoir members were celebrity waitresses at the restaurant on Tuesday night.

“The importance of going to Chicago, first off it’s Nationals and we really want to go there and want to win and we need all the help we can get from our community and people who just want to give back to us,” said showchoir member Shania Jones.

“Synergy” will have several public performances of their competition selections early next month.
