Tupelo Fishing Rodeo draws anglers to Veterans Park

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — If casting a line rather than chasing a sale is more your style…that was possible this morning as well
The annual youth fishing rodeo took place at Veterans park at the same time. The event sponsored by the Mississippi department of Wildlife and Fisheries is designed to expose more kids t the outdoors. Agents also used the rodeo to show off the stocked lake at veterans Park where catfish are ready to bite. More rodeos are set for other area lakes over the coming weeks.
