Tupelo Has A First Lady

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Tupelo has a First Lady,  and Chelsea Shelton even sang during the wedding ceremony at First Presbyterian Church.

Mayor Jason Shelton and Chelsea were engaged for about a year. The wedding took place Saturday evening, then a big reception was held on Tupelo’s front porch, at Fairpark, right in front of City Hall.

Hundreds of guests enjoyed dancing , live music, and lots of food. The wedding food was provided by well known Tupelo restaurants such as Connie’s, Vanelli’s , Finney’s, Johnnie’s Drive In and other popular places.

The bride and groom will enjoy a honeymoon in Hawaii.
