Tupelo Family Counselor Charged with Molestation

TUPELO, Miss. – (WCBI) Tupelo police charge a 66-year old man with molestation.

Malachy McCool was also arrested on touching a child for lustful purposes charges.

McCool is a family counselor and has owned “McCool Counseling” on Madison Street since 1997.

Tupelo investigators say the arrest was made after Judge Jim Pounds signed a warrant after a probable cause hearing this morning.

The allegations involve a 17-year old female patient.

Bond is set at $25,000.
