TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)-The Tupelo Buffalo Park is welcoming a new member to their family…a baby zebra. This is the first baby zebra born at the park since 2009. The zebra is a plains zebra. They are native to Eastern Africa and Eastern South Africa. Zebras are born with a natural coat that is brown which will darken as baby matures. Once matured the zebra will get his stripes, which are a lot like a finger print… no two are alike.
