Tupelo Addressing School Funding

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A meeting will be held Monday night to address the issue of fully funding public education.

Mayor Jason Shelton will co-host the discussions with the Mississippi Association of Educators. The meeting will be held at Tupelo City Hall Council Chambers between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Topics of discussion will be the underfunding of the Mississippi Adequate Education Program.

The MAE is holding numerous meetings such as these throughout this week.
