Video: One Killed, One Injured in Pontotoc Co. Crash

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – State troopers are investigating an early morning wreck that killed a Pontotoc County resident, and seriously injured another.

Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched near a power sub-station along MS 41 around 5:30 a.m., Saturday.

They say a semi tractor trailer became disabled, and blocked the south bound lane. Investigators say a Toyota Tacoma crashed into the back of the vehicle, sending the driver to the hospital, and killing his 82-year-old passenger.

No one was operating the semi tractor trailer during the crash.
