Trial Date Set For Former Ecru Officer

ECRU, Miss. (WCBI) – The trial against a former police officer has been scheduled.

Jody Mac Rock is set to go to court March 4, 2013.

The former Ecru Police Officer was indicted earlier this year on charges he violated two drivers’ civil rights by soliciting bribes to not write tickets during traffic stops in 2007. The 35-year-old, who is now a pastor, was set for trial Monday.
