Video: Travis Outlaw Holds Annual Turkey Giveaway

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Veteran NBA player and Starkville native Travis Outlaw continues to give back to his hometown.

Outlaw partnered with Kroger and other community leaders to donate five hundred turkeys on a first come first serve basis.

People began lining up before 9:00am at the Starkville Sportsplex to share in the generosity from Outlaw and his family.

Starkville Alderman Roy Perkins says, “Without this turkey donation, many people would not have food during this very vital Christmas season and we are just so thankful and forever grateful.”

Starkville police officers along with Outlaw’s family members and city leaders assisted in the giveaway.
