Traffic Stop Turns up Pot and Cash
ARTESIA, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop in Lowndes County lands two men behind bars, and takes half a pound of pot off of the street.
On Tuesday, Lowndes County deputies stopped Ricardo Robertson of Artesia for running a stop sign.
A search of Robertson’s vehicle turned up over 8 ounces of marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash.
Ricardo Robertson is charged with possession of marijuana, more than an ounce, driving with a suspended license, and running a stop sign.
A passenger, Brandon Robertson, also of Artesia, is charged with possession of marijuana more than an ounce.
