Traffic Stop Leads To Marijuana Bust In Pontotoc

Pontotoc, Miss. (WCBI) – A Panola County man is busted with more than seven pounds of marijuana in Pontotoc.

Christopher Michael Sanford, 41, is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Pontotoc Police Chief Larry Poole says Sanford had 7.7 pounds of pot in his vehicle on Sunday.

Poole says a traffic stop and further investigation lead to the bust.

Sanford’s bond was set at $75,000.
