Traffic stop leads to drug bust

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Two traffic stops lead to three drug arrests in Tishomingo County.

The vehicles were being pulled over for blocking a roadway, but investigators found much more.

Tommy Waddle, Julian Washington, and Betina Wilson are all facing drug charges.

Tishomingo County Deputies and Belmont police say the stop was initiated just outside of Belmont City limits on County Road 16.

Turns out investigators say neither driver had a drivers license. And, on top of that deputies say they found syringes and other items that are used to inject drugs.

All three were booked into the Tishomingo County jail.

Mr. Waddle also had two other warrants out for his arrest.
