Three Police Officers Disciplined

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two Columbus police officers resign and a third resigns rather than face action by the City Council.

Officer Rebecca Lomax has been suspended for 30 working days for rules infractions. That equals more than 60 calendar days. It’s her third time to be disciplined.

Officer Mark Underwood is suspended for 60 working days. That equals more than four calendar months.

Officer Bobby Webber, who has been with the department more than five years, resigned rather than face a appeal hearing before the City Council.
