Three People Struck by Car in Shannon

SHANNON, Miss. – (WCBI) Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson confirms three pedestrians were struck by a car around 8 pm Monday on Shackleford Avenue, in Shannon.

Shannon Police are in charge of the investigation, but WCBI understands that one woman was airlifted from the scene.

Two others were transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
