Three Lowndes County inmates found with contraband
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three Lowndes County inmates could face more time after being charged in a contraband bust.
Kenneth Franks, Dylon Morrison, and Gregory Johnson were all charged with possession of Contraband within the Facility.
Detention officers noticed suspicious activity on a monitor.
There was a search of what’s called the day-room and individual jail cells.
Investigators said some crudely made weapons, a white powdery substance, which tested positive for cocaine, and prescription drugs were found.
The investigation is still ongoing.
