Three Face Child Endangerment and Neglect Charges
CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-After finding a two year-old child wandering down a Calhoun County road unattended three are facing charges of child endangerment and neglect. Sunday around 9:30 in the morning a passerby saw the two-year old walking down the road and then returned her to her home but couldn’t get anyone to answer the door so they called 911. A Calhoun deputy arrived at the residence and were still unable to get anyone to answer but could hear a baby crying. After gaining entry to the house Deputy Dean Poynor says he found a five month old baby on a pallet on the floor and 43 year-old Kathy Bone, the children’s baby sitter, unresponsive on the couch.
