Three Charged in Lowndes Drug Cases
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A raid at a Lowndes County home lands two men in jail. And a third person is charged with prescription fraud.
Lowndes narcotics agents say 20-year-old Curtis Shirley and 25-year-old Marvin Kyles were arrested after a search at Shirley’s home on Hobbs-Sheffield Road. Shirley is charged with possession of cocaine after agents found a quarter ounce of the drug, Xanax, and other items. Kyles is charged with possession of marijuana after a half ounce of the drug was found on him.
In an unrelated case, 41-year-old Jimmie Pierce was charged with two counts of prescription fraud after she was caught trying to pass forged prescriptions at a Columbus pharmacy.
