Tennessee Woman Killed in Tippah Crash

From the Mississippi Highway Patrol

Troopers responded to the crash scene at approximately 6pm, Thursday, Aug. 23.. Upon arriving, it appeared Mitzi Williams, 28, of Union City, TN, was traveling west bound on State Route 2 when she apparently lost control of the 2000 Ford pick-up she was driving. The vehicle overturned several times and Williams was ejected from the vehicle.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash occurred approximately 5 miles West of Ripley on State Route 2.
