Teenager Charged With Sexual Battery

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County teenager is charged with sexual battery.

Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department investigators say 16-year-old
Dustin Wayne Gwathney is accused of having sexual conduct with a child under the age of 10.

He was arrested last week after a report was filed.

Gwathney is being charged as an adult, as the crime is considered a violent one.

The teen is out on a ten thousand dollar bond.
