AMORY, Miss. – (WCBI)Television syndication has now put her name on the map.
Monday night, Charla Young returned to her hometown to help those in need.
The Charla Young show came to the Amory Food Pantry and First Baptist Church this evening.
Her message is “When life gets you down, don’t give up: Power Up.”
Now that her show has expanded to nearly 20 new markets across the eastern U.S, she wants to use her story to empower others to succeed.
“When we do something like collect canned goods or you know go out and feed the needy or go visit those in the hospital or go feed those at soup kitchens. Every small thing makes a difference,” says Young.
Her non-profit organization “Charla’s Angels” was started in memory of her father, Charlie Stegall.
