Suspicious Package Found

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Home Depot in Tupelo is back open after a suspicious package caused a brief scare and store closure this morning.

The Tupelo Police bomb squad was called to the scene at about 8 a.m. to investigate. The package was deemed safe and the store reopened at about 9:30 a.m.

Police have not yet released the contents of the package or more details.
