Suspects Identified in Dollar General Burglary Ring
WATER VALLEY, Miss. – (WCBI) Water Valley authorities caught a break Monday morning in the string on Dollar General burglaries. Deputies say they stopped a Chevy Impala outside Water Valley for switched license plates and suspicious behavior around 2 a.m. Monday morning.
Inside the vehicle, deputies say they found 19-year old Alonza Washington of Jackson, 26-year old Derrick Davell Francis of Canton and 27-year old Aaron Charles Harris of Jackson, with tools that could be used for a burglary, and GPS coordinates to a Coffeeville Dollar General. The men also had gloves and sledge hammer inside the vehicle.
Dollar General has reported more than 40 break-ins over the last few months. The trio will be transported back to Forrest County, for burglary charges there.
