Suspected Child Molester Out On Bond

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A former Lowndes County resident facing a child sex crime charge is out on bond.

45 year-old Scott Edward Sudduth is charged with molesting-touching a child for lustful purposes.

Sheriff’s department investigators say the alleged incident happened about eight years ago when Sudduth lived in the area.

The victim recently came forward.

Deputies say a forensic interview was conducted and statements taken from the alleged victim.

Sudduth’s bond was set at ten thousand dollars.
