Suspect Named In Tupelo Pedestrian Death

TUPELO, Ms (WCBI) A Tupelo man will be arraigned this afternoon in connection with the death of a retired Tupelo educator.

Tupelo police say John S  Gillentine of Tupelo is charged with DUI Death for allegedly running over 64 year old Betty Montgomery Thursday morning while she was jogging near her North Tupelo home.

Gillentine was taken into custody just after the accident near Lakeshire and Allyson Drives in Tupelo We will have more on this case later today on WCBI News at Five and Six
