Superintendent confirms multi agency investigation at South Pontotoc HS

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Multiple investigations are underway in Pontotoc County involving an alleged incident, reportedly after a basketball game.

Pontotoc County Sheriff Leo Mask says there is an investigation underway at South Pontotoc High School.

He could not provide specifics because the case does involve minors.

Pontotoc County Schools Superintendent Dr. Brock Puckett says Child Protective Services, the sheriff’s department and the school district are investigating.

He says parents brought this to the administration’s attention and they have been kept informed.

Puckett could not release any other information about the alleged incident.
