COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – After a stormy Sunday, the last full work week of March looks nice & quiet!

MONDAY: By afternoon, we’re expecting plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 70s and light winds.

MONDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear and cool with overnight lows in the 40s.

REST OF WEEK: Fairly tranquil weather will continue through Friday. Warm days and mild to cool nights are expected, as no major weather makers are in store.

WEEKEND: Another busy weather period is possible! Scattered showers are possible Saturday, but storm potential could increase Sunday. In fact, another risk of severe weather has already been defied by the Storm Prediction Center Sunday across the entire coverage area.
