Sunny, breezy Monday with freezing mornings ahead

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – High pressure will remain anchored in the Southeast for most of the week. Cold mornings lie ahead, but milder air moves in by late week.

MONDAY: Expect full sun and a breezy afternoon with highs in the middle 50s. Northwest wind gusts up to 25 mph are possible.

MONDAY NIGHT: Clear and calm! Lows will dip into the middle 20s.

REST OF WEEK: Plenty of sun will continue the rest of the week, but cold mornings will as well! Expect lows in the 20s through Thursday morning, but Tuesday will be the coldest afternoon as highs stay in the upper 40s. Highs in the 60s are likely by Friday ahead of weekend rain chances.
