Summertime Pattern Takes Hold
TODAY: Hot and humid. Highs in the low 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s. Winds becoming SW at 5-10 miles per hour. A few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. Better rain chances exist along and north of the I-22 corridor. Chance of rain around 30%.
TONIGHT: A few lingering showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Mild and muggy, with overnight lows in the low 70s.
REST OF WEEK: This summertime pattern continues through the next 7 days. We keep highs in the low 90s, and heat index values in the upper 90s and low 100s Tuesday through the weekend. A few isolated to widely scattered showers and storms will be possible each afternoon, with the rain chance around 30% each day.
