Strong Storms Tonight

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:  The severe weather threat is over but rain with embedded thunder will continue during the night. Lows should be in the  low 60s.

THURSDAY:  The best chance of strong storms would be early and to the southeast of the Golden Triangle towards the I-20/59 corridor. We’ll be watching it. Additional showers and a few storms will be possible during the day across the region.  Highs are expected to be in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY:  The sky will become mostly sunny. Look for highs in the mid to upper 60s.  Low temperatures Friday night may briefly dip into the upper 30s.

SATURDAY: A mostly sunny and pleasant day is on tap and that bodes well for any Easter egg hunt you may have scheduled. Highs should be in the lower 70s.

EASTER SUNDAY:  A cold front is now expected to sag into north Mississippi during the day.  This will lead to additional cloud cover and the chance of scattered showers.  We don’t envision an all day washout or anything like that.  Plan on highs in the 60s.
