Storm Shelter Locations Across the Region

Emergency management agencies across the region have provided the following information on public storm shelters across the region in case of severe weather. If you can’t get to a community shelter, have a safety plan in place for your home or business.

Choctaw, Clay, Grenada, Lowndes, Montgomery, Noxubee, Oktibbeha and Webster counties in Mississippi and Pickens County in West Alabama don’t list any community shelters but the basements of courthouses and city halls often are used for storm shelters and protection.
