Steens Man Charged With Aggravated Assault After Argument Leads to Stabbing

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI) – An argument between a man and woman turns into a stabbing investigation in Lowndes County.

24-year-old Nick Taylor is charged with aggravated assault.

Deputies were called to a McCarter Road home this past Saturday morning in Steens.

Investigators say Taylor tried to break-up an argument between his mom and her boyfriend, then stabbed the man.

The incident remains under investigation.

Taylor remains in jail tonight.
