Video: Starkville Selects New Chief Administrative Officer

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Board of Alderman have chosen a new Chief Administrative Officer. At  Tuesday night’s board meeting, Taylor Adams was unanimously voted in as Starkville’s next CAO. Adams is currently Starkville’s Finance Director and will continue to run the City Clerk’s office until that position is filled. Adams will earn $80, 850 in his new position. The Board set out to find a new CAO in July after Lynn Spruill was fired. They reviewed 22 applicants and chose three finalists. Adams previously worked at Mississippi State and has been with the city since 2012.
