Starkville Robotics Team Scores Well at Regionals

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A group of Starkville students continue to make a name for themselves.

The robotics team from Millsaps Career and Technology Center walked away with some top honors at the Southeast Regionals at Auburn University this weekend. And once all the results are tallied, they may have finished in the top 5.

That’s pretty impressive for a team that’s only in its third year.

The team won the state title for the second year in a row earlier this fall.

At the regionals, the team won second place for its marketing presentation and made it to the semifinals in the robotics competition.

The team finished 8th in the Southeast last year.
