Starkville Police Make Second Arrest In Rape Case
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville police make a second arrest in connection with a rape and kidnapping case.
Jerry Lee Talley, 29, of McCool was taken into custody Wednesday morning in Sturgis by U.S. Marshals.
Talley is charged with rape, robbery, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. His bond is set at $1.1 million.
Investigators believe Talley was involved in an early Sunday morning incident on Maxwell Street.
Police have already arrested Terry Lamont Hill, 42, in connection with the case. He’s in the Oktibbeha County jail.
Talley was taken to the Choctaw County Jail.
He has an initial municipal Court Wednesday at 2:00 P.M.
