Starkville Police Investigating Shooting

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Starkville police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting at the Starkville Sportsplex that left two people with minor injuries.

Officers responded to the Sportsplex around 12:30am after getting reports of shots fired outside the building.

Two people had non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the lower part of their bodies.

Police say there was a private party going on at the time of the shooting and SPD officers were working security.

So far, no arrests have been made.
