Video: Starkville Named “Playful City”

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s official. Starkville is a great place to live and play.

For the second year, Starkville has been designated a “Playful City USA.”

The national recognition program honors cities and towns that make it easy for families, particularly children, to get balanced and active play.

The director of Starkville Parks and Recreation says they have added features at parks and other locations around town to make sure children have safe places to have fun and stay active.

Amory was also designated a “Playful City USA.”
