Starkville man indicted on charge in connection to deadly 2018 crash

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville man will go to trial for a manslaughter charge in connection to a March 2018 deadly crash.

Jimmy Andrews Sims, 61, was indicted for Culpable Negligence Manslaughter.

Sims was accused of driving at over 93 miles per hour and causing a crash on Lampkin Street between Russell and South Montgomery.

Tonya Graham, 41, of Cedar Bluff, later died from injuries received in the crash.

If convicted, Sims could face up to 20 years in prison.
