Starkville man arrested in stabbing incident on MSU campus
MISSISSIPPI STATE, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State released the name of the man arrested in a stabbing on campus.
Gavin Sudduth was charged with aggravated domestic assault.e
He remained in the Oktibbeha County jail.
A bond had not been set for the Starkville man.
The university sent out a “Maroon Alert” on Monday afternoon with a report of a stabbing near Herbert Hall.
MSU Chief Communications Officer Sid Salter said an MSU employee was injured in a vehicle.
The incident appeared to be domestic in nature.
Sudduth was quickly arrested.
The victim’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
